1.Program Introduction
‘Design Visions’is a short-term art and design exchange program jointly established by the International Affairs Office and the School of Art at Tianjin University of Technology. This program aims to attract students from art and design disciplines worldwide to visit China. Through coursework, field visits, and cultural tours, it seeks to broaden the international outlook of both Chinese and foreign students and enhance artistic and cultural exchanges between China and the world.
2.Application
lApplicant:Students worldwide majoring in Art and Design, Film Production, and 3D Design.
lApplication Process:Students should submit their applications via email to tjut_globalprogram@163.com. Applications should include a resume and a personal statement detailing their motivation for participating in the program and the expected benefits.
3.Schedule
lAcademic courses:Taught by senior experts from the School of Art atTianjin University of Technology, the curriculum covers culture, education, and society, and is conducted in English or Chinese (with translation). The program integrates lectures, seminars, and group discussions, aiming to enhance students' independent thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills in a real-language teaching environment.
lPractical visits:Visit well-known design studios, innovative businesses, and industrial parks within Tianjin to closely observe the latest trends and operations in the design industry.
lCultural experience:Tour famous sights and World Heritage sites in cities such as Tianjin and Beijing to deeply experience Chinese and local cultures.
lProgram outcomes:Share learning results and issue participation certificates.

6.Costs
Participants are responsible for their own flight and insurance costs for travel to and from China. Expenses incurred during activities within China, including accommodations, will be supported by special scholarships offered by our university.
